Games like fallout and Skyrim I have managed in first person. Sadly I have missed out on some amazing games because of this (dishonored and bioshock infinite). For me some games are so hectic within 5 minutes even on pills Im done. And I don't even touch the most mainstream titles. In my experience motion sickness pills work great but they can cause drowsiness. latest games make me feel like a while playing them and not only thanks to low fov. Seriously, compared to older games like Quake, UT, Half Life etc. I can recall Crysis 2 or Dead Island to have exactly the same issue. Most of the console ports have this problem. NEW Now removes third-person FOV zooming when sprinting (Only without a weapon drawn) If someone has the knowledge to do the same for Fallout 4 or teach me, I would actually compensate for it because the camera effects are pretty jarring for myself. For PlayStation 4 on the PlayStation 4, a GameFAQs message board topic titled 'UploadVR: ''Skyrim VR on the PSVR is better than Fallout 4 VR on the HTC Vive.'''. I used to play Unreal Tournament 2004 with fov 120 until recently so I'm used to high fov values.Īs for the arms clipping and stuff, it's more like the models simply weren't modeled that "deep" into the corners, as if the developers thought that there's no chance that anyone would use more than a standard 60 fov (which is sickening for me) so why bother. This way it gives nice surrounding feel to gaming. Since I have it relatively close to my eyes, I don't notice any warping as the edges of the screen are perceived peripherally.
